About Us
In 2002 Jon Sittko, President of USI, had an idea for a great new product. He spent the entire year running in circles working with factories in Mexico and multiple companies that said “I’ve got a guy in China who can help.” After wasting a year with zero results and spending thousands dollars, he met an acquaintance who actually did have a friend in China. This friend ended up being amazingly talented women named Ellen who just graduated from Oxford University in the UK with two master’s degrees and was looking for an exciting opportunity with an American company. Once Jon met Ellen the two of them were able to make his new product a reality in just a couple months. The same product that took him over a year to make using tons of different contacts in the States, took him just over 2 months to design, develop and produce in China with the help of his new business partner Ellen.
After Jon, his family and Ellen realized how difficult manufacturing in China is without a trustworthy partner; they decided to start Universal Stylz with the goal of creating a seamless supply chain solution. Years later and hundreds of products produced, USI has become the preferred choice for hundreds of companies who need an honest and competent supply chain partner.
